OneConnect Presents Latest InsurTech Innovations at 5th Insurance Analytics & AI Innovation Asia Pacific Summit 2025

("OneConnect") showcased its latest InsurTech innovations at the 5th Insurance Analytics & AI Innovation Asia Pacific Summit 2025.The summit brought together regulatory officials — including the Deputy Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong SAR — alongside senior executives and technology experts from the insurance industry across the Asia-Pacific region to discuss the future of digital transformation in insurance. During the summit, Ming X Jin delivered a keynote speech highlighting generative artificial intelligence as a transformative force driving the next wave of innovation in the insurance sector. He introduced OneConnect’s Chat BI solution — an AI- and natural language processing-powered platform designed to deliver real-time insights, personalized recommendations, and mobile accessibility. Dr. Ming emphasized that with the advancement of AI technologies, insurance companies can better tailor products and services to individual customer needs, offering a more personalized and intelligent insurance experience.
Hannah Zhu also shared her perspectives on the evolution of AI and its profound impact on the global insurance landscape. She pointed out that DeepSeek, with its outstanding cost-performance ratio and cutting-edge model capabilities, is reshaping InsurTech development worldwide. Hannah demonstrated practical applications of AI across customer service, claims processing, underwriting, policy generation, and risk assessment, providing in-depth insights into how insurers can leverage AI to drive smarter, faster decision-making.
Additionally, Hannah Zhu joined the “InsurTech Leadership Roundtable” to discuss how traditional insurers and InsurTech startups can deepen collaboration in the era of InsurTech 2.0. Joining executives from AXA, YULife, Sun Life, and professors from the National University of Singapore-Asian Institute of Digital Finance, Hannah noted that the disruptive potential of InsurTech lies in enhancing operational efficiency, optimizing customer experience, strengthening risk management, and fostering technological innovation — paving the way for insurance companies to embrace new opportunities and address emerging challenges.
Meanwhile, Zheng Yi, AI Innovation Hub Director at Ping An Technology, moderated the roundtable discussion "Enhancing Digital Customer Experience through AI and InsurTech Innovation," featuring leaders from Prudential, BOC Life, Deloitte, and others. Panelists collectively agreed that AI innovation is fundamentally redefining the digital customer journey — accelerating customer data analysis, automating claims and underwriting processes, and enabling proactive risk management through predictive analytics.
At the summit, OneConnect also showcased its AI-driven end-to-end insurance solutions covering key areas such as intelligent underwriting, automated claims processing, fraud detection, and precision marketing. These solutions empower insurance companies to enhance operational efficiency, optimize risk management, and deliver superior customer experiences.
