OneConnect Aids Well Link Life in Building a Standardized Online Insurance Platform for Agents
Recently, OneConnect successfully won the bid for the EPOS project of Well Link Life Insurance Company in Hong Kong (hereinafter referred to as "Well Link Life"). OneConnect will assist Well Link Life in developing an online insurance platform for both web and mobile platforms, aiding in reshaping the standardized online insurance process for agents.
Well Link Life was approved by the Hong Kong Insurance Authority in April 2019 to operate life insurance business in Hong Kong. As a life insurance company rooted in Hong Kong, Well Link Life is committed to contributing to the economic and social welfare of Hong Kong. According to the calculations under the Hong Kong Insurance Ordinance, as of December 31, 2022, Well Link Life's solvency ratio ranks among the top in the Hong Kong life insurance industry, significantly higher than the industry average, and holds a certain influence locally in Hong Kong.
This project will reshape the agent processing flow for Well Link Life, integrating online and offline customer profile management, FNA, plan creation, insurance purchasing, and payment processes into a unified online workflow, compatible with offline operations. It aims to achieve multi-scenario and multi-channel business collaboration, providing Well Link Life with a comprehensive online agent operation in the competitive Hong Kong insurance market.
